Catering
The Centre is dedicated to preparing innovative, quality meals that delight its guests. Emphasis is also placed on outstanding service in order to ensure the success of clients’ events. Food and beverage facilities, covering a variety of choices for all tastes, are located in the south-western corners of Halls 2, 3 and 4.
Disabled Access
The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre is committed to providing an accessible venue that can be enjoyed by all visitors. The following information will assist guests with special needs.
General Information
- The Centre's staff are able to assist with any request you may have. The Centre has an extensive safety policy and all staff are trained in emergency response evacuation procedures. The Information Desk is centrally located in the main foyer on the ground level of Convention Centre Bayside and can offer assistance or answer questions.
- All Centre Security staff are trained in First Aid and are onsite 24 hours per day.
- Two wheelchairs are available for public use. These can be borrowed from the Exhibitor Services Desk located at the entrance to Exhibition Hall 5.
- Trained guide dogs are welcome in the Centre at all times.
- The Centre can cater to special dietary needs, so please contact your event organiser to ensure that prior arrangements are made.
Getting to the Centre
Darling Harbour and the Centre can be accessed by road, rail or monorail:
- Light Rail stations are located adjacent to Centre (Convention and Exhibition stations). Both stations have ramp access links to the Centre. The Convention Centre Monorail station can be accessed via lifts and ramps from the Centre.
- Taxis ranks are located directly outside the venue with level walking into the ground floor of the Convention Centre. Taxis can be called from the main Information Desk located near the foyer on the ground level of Convention Centre Bayside.
- If travelling by car, undercover parking can be accessed via Darling Drive, Darling Harbour. There are 900 spaces available, including 18 disabled spaces located throughout the length of the car park. Disabled spaces are clearly marked. A Porte Cochere is available at the northern and southern end of the Convention Centre for drop offs.
- Coach Transfer to the venue is an option, with parking for coaches available on Darling Drive. Drop off and pick up areas are conveniently located outside the Convention Centre and the Exhibition Centre.
- Walkways - all external pathways are paved and flat allowing easy access into the Centre.
Internal Access
- Five lifts and ten escalators offer access to all levels within the Centre, including the underground car park.
- All stairs within the venue have handrails.
- There is access to all levels by ramp or lift. Temporary ramps are available for access to stages if required.
- All meeting rooms and halls within the Centre are wheelchair accessible. The auditoria have space allocated on the ground level for wheelchairs.
- The building complies with disability access requirements.
- Lounge areas are available in public areas, providing resting spots for guests.
Facilities
- There are 7 wheelchair accessible toilets located throughout the Convention and Exhibition Centre and these are clearly signposted.
- Telephones - A TTY service telephone is located in Convention Centre Parkside.
- Hearing induction loops are fitted in the Bayside Auditorium and the Parkside Auditorium. Delegates with hearing aids should use their 'T' switch in these rooms.
- Automatic Teller Machines, vending machines, public phones and public toilets are located along the Concourse.
Public Telephones / Internet Services
Public telephones are available in foyers of Halls 1 and 5 of the Exhibition Centre. They are also available in Foyer Ground Level, Convention Centre Bayside and beside the Parkside Office on Level 1 of Convention Centre Parkside.
Public internet and computer access is available at the Bayside Business Lounge, Ground Level, Convention Centre Bayside.
The Centre provides pre-paid wireless internet connectivity for delegates, organisers, exhibitors and visitors. Centre Wireless coverage is available in the following areas:
- upper and lower level of the Bayside Lounge.
- All of Convention Centre Bayside Level 2.
Cards can be purchased at the Bayside Business Centre, Exhibitor Services and Information Desks.
Lost Patrons
During the Show the dedicated meeting place for visitors will be located in the main exhibition hall.
All visitors are advised to make their way to this area when separated from their group. General announcements will be made during the Show to advise visitors of this area.
No individual announcements will be made.
Photographic Equipment
Patrons are welcome to use still cameras and video cameras (for private use only) to capture all the exciting vehicles on show.

Non - Smoking Policy
The Sydney Exhibition Centre is a smoke free environment. Those wishing to smoke must exit the venue.
Parenting Room
Parents with young children are welcome at the Parenting Room.
A Parents Room is located between the male and female facilities in Exhibition Hall 4 foyer and behind the Information Desk, Convention Centre Bayside. The Parents Room offers feeding areas, change tables, a food preparation area and a single toilet facility.
